Collins for Collector in a city within Howell County outspends other political committees in Q4 2022

Collins for Collector spent the most out of political committees within a city in Howell County during the fourth quarter of 2022.

It spent $29,530 on 12 vendors during the time period.

The largest expense was for Mail Production & Postage to Kapprint, which is based in Dripping Springs.

The second largest political spend from a committee operating in a city within Howell County during the fourth quarter of 2022 came from Citizens for Janet Crow. It spent $4,877 during the time period on 11 different vendors.

What’s known as “dark money”, which comes from political non-profits and shell corporations, has greatly increased expenditures and donations in recent elections to record-breaking highs.

Political campaign financial data is often updated, leading to a sometimes incomplete picture of a committee or candidate's finances.
